  • Dec. 6, 2025

The third round of National Capacity-Building Program for Key Science and Technology Park Managers was successfully held on December 3–4, 2025, at the University of Tehran Science and Technology Park. The two-day program was organized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in collaboration with Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT), which served as the National Secretariat for Human Resource Development and Managerial Empowerment for Science and Technology Parks.

The training program brought together key managers from science and technology parks across Iran to strengthen their leadership and strategic management capabilities in support of the country's innovation ecosystem. As part of the national capacity-building initiative, participants attended specialized lectures, expert panels, and practical workshops focusing on emerging approaches to innovation financing, investment ecosystems, public-private partnerships, and valuation of digital economy businesses.

The program featured contributions from senior government officials, experienced executives, academic experts, and innovation leaders, who shared perspectives on strengthening the governance of science and technology parks, developing sustainable innovation ecosystems, and enhancing the role of technology parks in driving knowledge-based economic growth.

The third edition built upon the success of the previous two national training programs, which were hosted by the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST) and Isfahan Science and Technology Town. Through its role as the National Secretariat, ISTT has been leading the design and implementation of a long-term national capacity-building framework aimed at developing professional leadership for science and technology parks across the country.

With more than three decades of experience in innovation ecosystem development, ISTT continues to play a leading national role in strengthening human capital and managerial excellence while promoting sustainable growth and international best practices for Iran's science and technology parks.
